Today, I’m happy to tell you that I’ve signed an agreement with Recorded Books to create an audiobook version of Christmas Past: The Fascinating Stories Behind Our Favorite Holiday’s Traditions.Â
It’s only natural that a book based on a podcast should also be available in audiobook form. My agent was smart enough to negotiate that I retain audio rights to the book when we did the original agreement with the print publisher.
I can also confirm that yours truly will be the narrator. (That may sound obvious, but there’s a separate auditioning process for narration, and most authors don’t narrate their own books.)
The audiobook will be available at the same time as the print book: sometime in the fall of 2022, with preordering available several months before hand. The current plan is to head to the recording studio in April or May to track my narration.
